Summary Of Responsibilities
- Performs 1st level phone/email support (prioritizes, resolves, and documents issues)
- Manages USM Help Desk ticketing system
- Repairs, replaces or upgrades computers
- Installs and repairs peripherals such as monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, and printers
- Tracks hardware assets and documents software purchases
- Performs remote support for VPN and remote desktop
- Trains new users on Office 365, phone systems, VPN/RDP, shared drives, Concur, ERP defaults, Salesforce, and setting up future software
- Maintains documentation of all IT hardware IP's addresses
- Handles employee cell phone services, including but not limited to tech support, ordering devices, transferring data, and initial set-up
- Performs Shared Logic (ERP) future enhancements support
- Assists with special projects and/or other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable experience
- Minimum 0-2 years of IT experience
- Ability to take initiative, drive change, and lead by example
- Demonstrated experience performing the responsibilities of the role
- Ability to effectively coach, guide, and teach team members IT related processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to drive core objectives to completion
- Ability to work, at times, to support IT related tasks for team members in our yard and warehouse operations; therefore, ability to work in various environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, dusty, dirty and/or wet conditions
