Primary Purpose
The Procurement Specialist (Buyer) is a key contributor to the procurement team, responsible for executing purchase orders (POs), ensuring the accurate receipt of goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and negotiating regional agreements. This role reports directly to the Procurement Manager and plays a crucial part in maintaining efficient procurement processes, supporting cost-effective purchasing, and contributing to the success of the organization.
Essential Functions
Set up and collect due diligence information from newly approved vendors specific to the region, ensuring that vendors meet the necessary compliance and performance standards.
Ensure the timely confirmation of two-way receipts for goods and services, verifying that deliveries meet the specified criteria
Continuously analyze regional procurement processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, and compliance.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise.
Monitor and enforce procurement compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Generate reports to track procurement KPIs and performance.
Collaborate with various departments, such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives.
Place purchase orders with vendors based on organizational needs, ensuring that orders are accurate, timely, and in compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.
Review and approve the receipt of goods and services, comparing goods received and invoice values.
Perform other duties as assigned

Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
