United Staffing Solutions is seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales for our client. This would be for a large electronics and video / photagraphy store in Midtown Manhattan.
We are looking for candidates who have a diverse background in a retail setting who has a vast knowledge of various aspects in retail and will help drive excellent customer service and sales across all departments.
Pay : $20-$23 / hr DOE
Schedule : 5-6 days a week, Sundays are mandatory, store is closed on Saturdays.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the retail store
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Implement sales strategies to achieve targets
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively
- Conduct shift management and scheduling
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for favorable pricing
