The United States Olympic Committee (USOPC) is a nonprofit organization and is one of the only National Olympic and Paralympic Committees in the world that does not receive government funding for its programs, instead relying on the generosity of a committed community of sponsors and donors. The Donor Experience & Stewardship Assistant is a temporary employee of the USOPC’s Development division, and as such, also works for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation (USOPF), the organization charged with raising philanthropic support for the USOPC and Team USA. The Assistant will support the Donor Experience team and support the overall Development division by ensuring stewardship and donor recognition materials are impactful, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner. The Assistant’s key responsibilities include gifting, shipping, ordering, processing invoices, and maintaining detailed electronic files in the CRM system. This temporary position will also support the team in managing gift preparation, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Here’s how you ‘ll have an impact :
- Support the team’s gifting needs including but not limited to events, stewardship, donor onboarding, specialty gifting, major gift officer support, and hospitality as needed. This includes ordering, partnering with key vendors as needed, and packing gifting items with extreme detail, care and attention.
- Coordinate all shipping needs for the team, including supporting event shipments for gifts, decor, and logistics.
- Support the in-house gifting inventory and management of the team’s product that includes logging, tracking, and organizing product from the USOPC’s warehouse to Headquarters building in Colorado Springs.
- Support the execution of purchase orders, process invoices, and track budget for all gifting components.
- Assist with administrative tasks across the Development division as needed, including but not limited to, creating acknowledgement letters, payment reminders, and curated notes for donors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
