Here's a summary of responsibilities :
The USOPC People & Culture team is seeking an organized and methodical individual for a temporary position assisting with scanning and reviewing personnel records into our electronic file management system. The People Records Project Assistant must work with a high degree of confidentiality. This position is anticipated to work 5 to 10 hours per week for the duration of the year.
Here's how you'll have an impact :
- Review and prepare personnel documents for scanning.
- Scan documents into electronic format.
- Review documents for scanning errors such as smudges or lines. Rescan erroneous documents if necessary
- Name documents based on agreed-upon naming convention, ensuring consistency and accuracy in electronic file management system.
- Upload documents to electronic file management system, ensuring documents are uploaded for correct employees and into correct folders and sub-folders.
- Follow data security procedures to maintain security of confidential information.
- Shred documents once successfully uploaded to system. Collaborate with Associate Director, Benefits & People Systems to ensure compliance with document policies.
