SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Partner & Donor Engagement is responsible for assisting with interactions and engagement with corporate partners, sponsors, and donors to ensure strong relationships and meaningful stewardship. This role provides administrative and engagement support for the CEO and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) while assisting in sponsorship fulfillment, donor communications, and partner activation efforts. The Coordinator also supports fundraising initiatives, special projects, and event coordination that advance the Museum’s philanthropic and partnership goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Partner & Donor Engagement Support
- Assist in managing interactions with corporate partners, sponsors, and donors, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective communication.
- Support the execution of stewardship plans, ensuring donors and partners receive appropriate recognition and engagement opportunities.
- Help coordinate partner and donor experiences, including museum visits, VIP events, and personalized outreach.
- Track donor and sponsor interactions using CRM systems and provide updates to leadership.
- Assist with sponsorship activations, ensuring partners receive agreed-upon branding, marketing exposure, and hospitality benefits.
Executive & Stakeholder Support
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the CEO and CGO in fundraising and partnership-related initiatives.
- Assist in preparing briefing materials, reports, and presentations for donor and partner meetings.
- Ensure leadership has the necessary tools and information to support fundraising efforts.
Event & Program Coordination
- Assist in the planning and execution of donor and sponsor-related events to enhance engagement.
- Support special initiatives designed to strengthen partner and donor relationships.
- Coordinate event logistics to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
Strategic Collaboration & Communication
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Events teams to enhance partner and donor engagement.
- Maintain detailed records of sponsorship and donor activity, supporting internal reporting.
- Occasionally collaborate with consultants to support engagement strategies as needed.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Provide additional support on philanthropic, sponsorship, and stakeholder engagement projects.
- Assist in executing development and fundraising initiatives as directed by leadership.
- Adapt to evolving organizational needs and contribute to other projects that support the Museum’s mission.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in donor relations, corporate partnerships, sponsorship support, or nonprofit fundraising.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to move around the Museum and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
