Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, loading, and unloading of recycled materials. The role involves operating material handling equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport recycled materials as directed using a forklift.
- Load and unload recycled materials onto and from pallets, bins, and trucks.
- Efficiently feed various grades of material onto the baler conveyor.
- Safely operate the forklift and report any unsafe equipment or conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience (required).
- Experience handling bales of scrap paper, plastic, and metal.
- Proficient in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Prior warehouse experience (required).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug test.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits
