What are the responsibilities and job description for the COUNSEL FOR OVERSIGHT AND INVESTIGATIONS position at United States Senate?
The Office of Senator Adam Schiff is seeking an oversight and investigations counsel. Deep experience conducting oversight across the Executive Branch and/or the U.S. Congress and a law degree are required for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the Senator and his team to develop an oversight strategy and priorities, leading oversight and investigations work for the Senator in the Judiciary Committee and other portfolios, and coaching other team members including law clerks on conducting effective oversight. Additionally, candidates should be interested in delving into complex legal matters and questions from a Senator well-versed in the law.
This is a full-time in-person position. The salary range for this position is $100,000 – 110,000, with the final salary commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for all Senate employee benefits. Senator-elect Schiff’s office is an equal opportunity employer.
