What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECONOMIST position at United States Senate?

The Republican staff of the U.S Congress Joint Economic Committee seek economists with a background and interest in the following areas:

  • Technology and innovation
  • Healthcare
  • Tax policy

Successful candidates will have strong written and oral communication skills. The position requires independent research, as well as working closely with other economists on the staff. A Master’s in economics is required and a PhD in Economics is preferred.
