Position Description
The Talent Identification Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Department Operations Manager, Directors, Remote TID Managers, and YNT Network Scouts, to?efficiently organize and execute all processes and special projects. As part of the role, the coordinator needs to initiate, analyze, and interpret various data sets to help drive strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Commits to the mission, objectives, and policies of U.S. Soccer
- Applies U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Philosophy and Framework
- Works closely with all other sporting departments, to maintain inter-departmental communication with Sport Analytics and Youth National Teams
- Communicates effectively with all stakeholders (staff, scouts, coaches, members, clubs, parents, etc.) involved in talent identification
- Coordinates all Talent ID procedures to support YNT Scouting and Scout development and all other strategic components
- Assists Manager to monitor department budget, finances, and spending
- Oversees Talent ID Associate program
Tasks and Duties of the position are based on five strategic components :
Technology (Data and Analysis)
YNT Scouting Network
Scout Education and Development
Talent ID Centers and Regional Mini-Camps
Youth National Team Scouting
