Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator - Fuel, Facilities & Equipment’s primary responsibility is to commit fuel, facilities & equipment financial transactions into the Infor financial system (PO creation). He/She will ensure budget adherence and that company policies are followed and specifications and approved vendors are being utilized. The Purchasing Coordinator, with support from the Accounting team, will be responsible for project budget adherence reporting for the Project Management Teams. He/She will also serve as a back up to the Central Services Call Center Team as required.
Key Responsibilities
The Purchasing Coordinator - Fuel, Facilities & Equipment’s primary responsibility is to commit fuel, facilities & equipment financial transactions into the Infor financial system (PO creation). He/She will ensure budget adherence and that company policies are followed and specifications and approved vendors are being utilized. The Purchasing Coordinator, with support from the Accounting team, will be responsible for project budget adherence reporting for the Project Management Teams. He/She will also serve as a back up to the Central Services Call Center Team as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Infor system PO creation and reporting
- Maintain Auto Quotes master equipment book and Project Estimation Templates as directed by the Director Service & Supply Procurement
- Arrange, track and coordinate freight for projects
- Handle small equipment/MRO request via Verisae or other approved channels
- Serve as the primary contact for Project Managers and Coordinators
- Vendor management and measurement as directed by the Director – Service & Supply Procurement
- Support procurement activities related to break-fix events, remodels, new store fixtures, equipment, small wares, lighting and basic store materials.
- Manages the store equipment and materials returns and shipments to and from the RC Taylor warehouse including forklift and pallet jack operation.
- Manages the disposition of assets including being responsible for tracking and inventory of returned equipment and materials.
- Participate in plan reviews for the purpose of supporting equipment book adherence
- Perform all other duties as requested or assigned by management
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- College degree with strong analytical skill background preferred, but not required
- Strong PC and software skills in Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of procurement software programs and ability to learn new programs and systems as required
- Ability to arrange, manage and expedite transportation for equipment and materials at competitive rates
- Excellent organizational skills, analytical price and specifications reviews, ability to render a decision based on facts, needs and costs
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.
