Quad City Gastroenterology is hiring a full time Medical Assistant to join our busy and growing clinic! This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no holidays or weekends required. Responsibilities:
- Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Measure and record patients’ vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to the RN or physician.
- Provide educational materials to patients and their families as instructed by the physician or RN.
- Assist patients with mobility and preparation for clinical examinations or procedures.
- Enter accurate and timely data into the practice’s electronic health record (EHR).
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Support the RN and physician with patient care, including simple diagnostic tests or treatments as permitted by training and certification.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
