As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing key OEM and distributor accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning with market trends to achieve strategic goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with OEMs and distributors to drive sales and market share.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with industry trends and company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial engines, power systems, and technical sales markets.
  • Analyze sales metrics to monitor performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Provide comprehensive support to distributors, ensuring alignment with company standards for parts, service, and warranty programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, shipment tracking, and inventory management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to showcase products and develop leads.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Drive the achievement of annual sales targets and revenue goals.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within industrial engines, power systems, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to manage distributor networks and OEM partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and creating long-term customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like SAP, along with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of sales forecasting, market analysis, and financial metrics.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales account management or technical sales.
  • Familiarity with engine components, warranty adjudication, and channel partner strategies.
