United Talent is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Support Specialist to join a kitchen and bath company in the Morgantown, WV area. This role supports the Lead Designer and includes opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to advance to a full designer role. The position also involves front desk responsibilities and managing procurement orders to support the seamless operation of our projects.
Job Duties :
- Collaborate with the Lead Designer to develop kitchen and bath designs that align with clients’ needs.
- Use 20 / 20 Design software to assist with drafting designs (experience with 20 / 20 preferred).
- Prepare design presentations, including layout plans, material selections, and mood boards.
- Serve as the front desk liaison, greeting clients, answering phone calls, and managing appointments.
- Manage procurement ordering, ensuring materials and products are accurately ordered and delivered on time.
- Maintain project records, samples, and client documentation in an organized manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and assisting with design decisions.
- Track project timelines, communicate updates to the team, and assist in resolving scheduling or supply chain issues.
- Shadow the design team to gain expertise and prepare for advancement opportunities.
