United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities seeks an Institutional Major Gifts Officer (32 hrs/wk). The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced fundraiser capable of securing significant philanthropic support for the seminary through cultivating relationships with foundations, corporations, churches, and other organizations; stewarding a portfolio of institutional funders; developing proposals to provide operating funds and match funding opportunities with United’s needs; successfully writing grants in a range of $5,000 to $1,000,000 or more; stewarding a small portfolio of individual donors; and valuing the mission of United to prepare graduates for innovative and compassionate leadership of churches, other faith communities, and society toward justice and peace.

This position is .8 FTE/32 hours a week and requires the employee to routinely work on campus for at least three (3) days (or 24 hours of the 32) a week. The annualized salary range is $58,000–$69,000 with a very generous benefits package including retirement, medical, health savings account, Life/LTD, vacation, and sick leave.
