We were founded in 1996 by a family seeking a cure for their daughter’s pulmonary arterial hypertension( PAH). Today, we have six FDA-approved therapies that treat PAH, pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) and neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer. Our near-term pipeline seeks to develop additional therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF). The cure for end-stage life-threatening diseases like PAH, PH-ILD, PF, and many others is an organ transplant, but only a small percentage of donated organs are available to address the vast need. For this reason, we are working to create manufactured organs to address the shortage of kidneys, hearts, lungs, and livers available for transplant. We believe an unlimited supply of tolerable, transplantable organs will eliminate the transplant waiting list and cure end-stage organ diseases for which transplant is not currently an option. Interns are responsible for arranging their housing and transportation. 2025 Internship Program Date: Monday, June 2 – Friday August 29 Who You Are You are excited about the intersection of healthcare and business. You have exceptional organizational skills and enjoy synthesizing technical research into communications for a medical audience. How you’ll contribute This internship will focus on communicating health economics and outcomes research to US payers. The main summer projects will include: Assess current and future landscape of relevant therapeutic areas as it relates to clinical and HEOR publication strategies Create a master timeline of value and evidence communications to coincide with GMA publications, conferences, and other significant events Assist in updating value propositions and payer education materials for current and pipeline products Assist in preparing for 2026 medical strategy planning For this role you will need Minimum Requirements For Advanced Intern Level: Must be currently enrolled in an MBA or Master’s program or Must be currently enrolled in a PharmD/PhD program Must be available to work 40 hours per week onsite in the RTP office Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite The salary for this position ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
