Paving Crew Member

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Crew Members to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and a passion for building and construction. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for various tasks on construction sites, particularly focusing on concrete work. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Operate concrete rake and shovel behind paving machine to ensure efficient delivery of concrete to designated areas.
• Assist in concrete forming and finishing processes to achieve high-quality results.
• Utilize concrete mixers for preparing mixtures according to project specifications.
• Perform commercial driving duties as needed, ensuring safe transportation of materials and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members on construction sites to build structures and installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in the installation of various construction components as directed by supervisors.

Experience

• Previous experience in paving including rake and shovel behind paving machine required.
• Experience working on construction sites is a plus, especially in a team-oriented environment.
• Skills in heavy equipment operation are highly desirable, particularly with pavers and other machinery.
• A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to concrete installation and construction processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
