Position Summary:

 

The Human Resources Generalist serves as a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions to foster a positive and productive workplace environment. This role involves partnering with employees and managers to deliver effective HR services, ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, and promote initiatives that align with organizational goals.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; talent acquisition, performance, and talent management; engagement and recognition.
  • Responsible for the new hire onboarding process; assists with the employee orientation program.
  • Maintains HRIS records.
  • Manages employee files and documentation.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Manages goal-setting process and assists with other aspects of performance management.
  • Conducts exit interviews, summarize findings, and discuss trends and concerns with senior management.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
  • Communicates policy, benefit, and compliance information to team members to ensure understanding.
  • Answers routine questions regarding benefits, pay, and other items related to the employee experience.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
  • HR systems experience and proficiency; Workday preferred.
  • Professional certification desired.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and demonstrate a team-oriented work style.
  • Strong understanding of labor and employment law and employee relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Able to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

 

Tech Requirements for the Job:

 

  • High-speed, reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted communication and access to necessary systems and tools.
  • Quiet and private work environment to maintain confidentiality and minimize background noise during calls.
  • Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools, such as video conferencing software, instant messaging platforms, and customer relationship management systems.
  • Compliance with all security and privacy policies and protocols.

  • Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.

 

Physical Requirements for the Job:

 

  • Regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Involves standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • May be required to help to transfer the patient.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
