Job Title: Program Manager
Summary: We are seeking two highly organized Program Managers to oversee and coordinate our program’s implementation. The Program Managers will plan, execute, and manage the key activities and objectives of the program. The ideal candidates will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Project Overview: United Way of Central Eastern California (UWCEC) will implement a Community Supports services program to provide housing-related support to Medi-Cal members in Kern, Inyo, and Mono counties. The program aims to improve health outcomes by addressing social determinants of health, specifically through housing assistance to Medi-Cal beneficiaries who are at risk of homelessness or currently experiencing housing instability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of the CalAIM Community Supports Program while providing evaluation and impact assessment.
- Lead and manage the program, oversee program coordinators, and work with the site & staff on day-to-day procedures and practices.
- Participate in evaluation assessments.
- Act as the programmatic lead for all program-related responsibilities and serve as the primary contact.
- Ensure the successful implementation and evaluation of activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in program management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Experience in social services or a related field is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
- Annual salary: $66,560.
- This is a one-year position due to the life of the grant.

- One Program Manager in Bakersfield (Kern County).
- One Program Manager in Bishop (Inyo County).
