Description
We are looking for a patient, empathetic team player to join our talented group of Client Services Representatives. This position plays a critical role on the Child Services team supporting clients and providers, in accessing the Care4Kids child care subsidy in order to ensure that children can benefit from high-quality child care. This position is ideal for an individual seeking to get their foot in the door within an organization that is changing lives in our state for the better.
What you will do
- You will take incoming calls from CT families seeking assistance to pay their child care expenses
- You will help child care providers with eligibility and invoice questions relating to the Care4Kids program
- You will support employers in ensuring that their staff can benefit from Care4Kids child care subsidies
When and where you will work
This is a full-time position working 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. every third Thursday of the month. Employment begins with in-person classroom training in our beautiful new office space! After a few months of continued learning on the job, you will be eligible to work from home for a portion of your work week.
The Pay and Benefits:
- $20.60 per hour base pay.
- $0.75 per worked hour for certified Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking staff ($1.50 per hour worked for both languages).

Requirements
Who you are
- You have a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service field required.
- You have some experience working in an office environment, and ideally in a fast-paced contact center.
- You love helping people!
