Role Description
The Business Development Director will play a key role in supporting our programs, fundraising, daily operations, event planning, and records/financial management, while helping us achieve our mission and vision.
Main Responsibilities
- Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating events, including logistics and marketing.
- Fundraising Strategies: Assist with fundraising efforts, including donor outreach, grant writing, and event planning.
- Community Relations: Engage with the community, create awareness about the organization's work, and represent the nonprofit at local events or meetings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including 211 communications and data.
- Content Development: Assist with creating content for social media, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to build relationships and ensure program success.
- Call Center Operations: Ensure that callers are guided to the most relevant and up-to-date services available in the area.
