The company is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and international distribution of bicycles, e-bikes, and rideable toys, manufacturing more than 6 million bicycles and e-Bikes each year.
In addition to cycling, United Wheels Inc. is at the forefront of materials science through Allite Inc. and its affiliated companies, which utilize proprietary magnesium alloys across numerous industries (e.g., sporting goods, robotics, electronics, aerospace, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Champion: Ensure organizational alignment regarding target consumers and trends, marketplace landscape, including competition and retail channel, and product strategy.
- Product Development: Develop successful products that meet sales margin goals, delivered on time.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to understand the market and key opportunities to differentiate product.
- Communication: Communicate product features/benefits clearly to broad audience of external and internal customers.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, finance, purchasing, marketing, and creative departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of Category Management experience in the e-bike industry.
- Approximately 20% travel required (domestic and international).
- Must be able to obtain a valid passport.
