What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst III position at United Wholesale Mortgage?

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Facilitating information gathering sessions
- Ensuring business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution
- Conducting business process assessments; determine as-is state
- Performing gap analysis; creating future state roadmap and transition plans
- Creating diagrams and models to provide additional clarity
- Mentoring and leading junior BAs on projects
- Coordinating User Acceptance Testing; assisting with issue resolution
- Assisting in project vision refinement and prioritization
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Required:
- Computer-related degree or equivalent
- Five years or more of business analysis experience
- Ability to manage tasks and deliverables effectively
- Ability to quickly become an expert in various business domains
- Critical thinking, emotional intelligence and situational awareness
- Ability to work well under pressure in a challenging, changing, fast-paced environment
- Negotiation skills between application development team and business partners
- Work with a diverse group of stakeholders including executives, leaders, direct reports, and subject matter experts
- Deep understanding of BA role in an Agile environment
- Understand the BA role within the Software Development Lifecycle
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Onsite, full-time attendance
Preferred:
Experience developing software in Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, Svelte, etc..), C#, or Python.
Experience working with Service Oriented Architectures and APIs.
Experience with Cloud hosting services (Azure or GCP)
