TMS Data Compliance Specialist

 

The TMS Data Compliance Specialist will ensure UWM adheres to relevant laws and regulations regarding employee data, including privacy, security, and reporting, while also maintaining accurate and compliant team member records.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Ability to present team material in front of large groups of people

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing HR data

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate compliance requirements

• Ability to identify and resolve compliance issues

• Proficiency in HR software and data management systems

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in HR, compliance, or data management

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Key Responsibilities:

• Remain current of evolving labor laws, regulations, and best practices related to HR data and compliance
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of HR data, including employee records, payroll data, and benefits information
• Conduct data audits and prepare reports to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulations.
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive employee information from unauthorized access or disclosure
• Work with other departments, such as IT and legal, to ensure data compliance across the organization
• Identify and address compliance issues or potential risks related to HR data
• Communicate compliance requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders
