Part-Time, Evenings, 7-shifts per pay
Oversee nursing activities, organize, and delegate tasks based on resident needs, staff skills, and facility layout. Assist and evaluate nursing aides in resident care. Conduct rounds to assess residents holistic needs, administer medications, treatments, and emergency first aid. Facilitate staff training, problem-solving, and maintain comprehensive electronic records of residents conditions, medications, and treatments. Liaise with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team. Advocate for residents independence, encourage their participation in care, and respect their decision-making rights. Ensure completion of all required documentation, deliver care and service in compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold HIPAA standards.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Register Nurse by Board of Examiners in PA, in good standing.
- Completed pharmacology course.
- Current CPR Certification
