Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. As an RN in the ED, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute medical conditions and emergencies. You will assess patients, administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure prompt and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and assess patients in the emergency department.
- Provide emergency care for patients of all ages with various medical conditions.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Document patient information and care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a calm, organized environment during high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Previous emergency department or critical care experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
