Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the supervision, development, planning, and evaluation of the nursing program activities.
- Manage program budget, faculty, staff, and clinical site relationships.
- Ensure program compliance with Board rules and regulations.
- Develop and implement curriculum, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare reports and documentation for state and Board requirements.
- Maintain student and faculty records, overseeing admission processes and orientation.
- Establish and maintain educational partnerships and contracts with clinical sites.
- Participate in faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation.
- Provide academic support and advising to students.
- Conduct Nursing Advisory Committee meetings and maintain community relationships.
- Monitor instruction quality and participate in program review and strategic planning.
- Ensure student readiness for graduation and licensing exams.
- Track and report on student performance, NCLEX licensing, and job placement rates.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state where the campus is located
- Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in nursing, education, or administration
- Minimum of two years of experience in both administrative and teaching positions in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs
- At least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and institutions
- Experience in supervision, planning, and budget management
