Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior SIS Administrator to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Anthology Student SIS. This role requires deep knowledge of Anthology Student system configuration and the ability to collaborate with various school departments to ensure smooth system operations, support end-users, and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to effectively manage system needs and enhance user experience across the institution.
- Administer, configure, and optimize the Anthology Student SIS to align with institutional needs and best practices.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to gather requirements and implement solutions that support operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training for SIS users across various departments.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, workflows, and processes.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate system updates, patches, and upgrades in collaboration with IT teams and vendors.
- Analyze and optimize SIS workflows to improve efficiency and enhance user experience.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the institution and Anthology Student support teams.
- Lead and support SIS-related projects, including integrations with other enterprise applications.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior SIS administrators and end-users.
- Other duties as assigned
The salary range for this position is $90k (minimum), $100k (midpoint), and $110k (maximum).*
- Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience administering Anthology Student SIS or similar student information systems.
- Strong knowledge of SIS configuration, workflows, and reporting tools.
- Experience working in higher education or an academic environment.
- Understanding of FERPA, accreditation, and compliance requirements for student records.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Anthology integrations (e.g., LMS, financial aid, CRM, or ERP systems).
- Project management experience, particularly in SIS implementation or upgrades.
