UCG is seeking an experienced individual to provide support to our Group home and it's Direct Service Professional team. This involves seeing to the daily needs of three ladies living in a group home setting that are in need of total care. There are 2 members of staff scheduled every shift.
On a normal schedule, the Home Manager will primarily work on 2nd shift, the Asst. Manager will be working 3rd shift, so we usually have a member of management on each shift providing oversight and support to the team on a regular basis.
As a member of management, if someone calls off and nobody picks up the shift, management is expected to work it. So we LOVE people with open availability and willing to pick up extra shifts or hours as needed. (1st shift 8am-2pm, 2nd shift 2pm-11pm, 3rd shift is 11pm-9am).
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operations of the home and provide direct support care of the individuals in the home.
- Reports to the Program Coordinator any concerns or questions involving staff, clients or general operations of the home.
- Ensures all house documentation is completed and sent to the Program Coordinator on time; ensures staff are completing all documentation on time and accurately.
- Ensures all staff are trained and knowledgeable of their job duties and are implementing the goals and outcomes as written in the ISP.
- Ensuring that medications are available onsite and are being administered per doctor order.
- Comfortable finding coverage or provides coverage yourself for call-offs or scheduling issues.
- Accompanies individuals to and from appointments and activities, as needed.
- Oversees the upkeep of the NMT vehicle, ensuring the documentation is being filled out and turned in every week.
- Can communicate with the guardians, SSA's, management, and other staff, respectfully, politely and patiently.
- Knowledge of laundering, cleaning, meal preparation tasks in a residential setting to provide the best environment for the individuals in their home.
- Can meet the administrative tasks required for this position such as paperwork, grocery shopping, and meal planning.
- Will ensure the clients have at least 2 community outings per month.
- Understands their position is responsible for holding the standard in the home.

Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR Certification (will train if necessary)
- Medication Administration - Level 1 Certification (will train if necessary)
- Driver's License, with less than 5 points in the last 2 years
- DODD DSP Annual Training (mylearning.dodd.ohio.gov) is required
- Must be able to pass a basic background check
- At least 2 years in the DODD field
- At least 1 year management in the DODD or healthcare adjacent field
- $18.50/hour ($14.00/hour for Onsite-Oncall)
