Compensation:
- Hourly, non-exempt
- New hires can expect to be placed on our starting wage scale of $29.66 to $35.29 per hour
- Based on performance, there is room to grow on our full wage scale of $29.66 to $40.91 per hour
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours, M-F

Job Summary
As our Accounts Payable (AP) & Payroll Specialist you would be responsible for processing all invoices and payable transactions for the organization. You would also assist with bi-weekly payroll functions.

Requirements
Professional and Technical Knowledge:
- Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge at a level typically acquired through completion of a general studies high school program.
- Possesses knowledge and training in the field of Accounting/Bookkeeping, typically acquired through a formal associate's degree or through a trade school program.
Technical Skills:
- Uses accounting and payroll software to manage approval workflows, vendors, purchase orders, general ledger, reporting, transactions, etc.
- Proficiency with PDF software and all functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. and advanced functions in each.
Communications Skills:
- Possesses ability to effectively communicate information that is complex and/or technical to co-workers and others.
- Able to exercise tact and diplomacy in the resolution of mild conflicts or disagreements that occur on the job that would be considered at a level of basic “customer service”.
- Prepares effectively written communication (e.g., correspondence, memos, letters, emails) conveying information.
- Effectively communicates information during informal and formal verbal interactions.
