Qualifications include :
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Recent experience as a Unit Clerk or other clerical experience.
- Payroll data entry, staffing & scheduling experience preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic mathematical / numerical skills and experience ordering supplies.
- Polite & efficient telephone manner.
- Proven ability to work independently and show initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize.
- Ability to perform registration duties, including admitting patients and managing appointments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with distressed children, adolescents and families.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Able to work well under pressure & co-operate with all Health Centre staff and patients.
- Computer experience required
- Good attendance record.
