Job Title: Director of Women's Services
Location: Mayfield
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Women's Services to oversee the operations of our Women's Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving departmental and organizational objectives, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing resources efficiently.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the organization.
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to meet performance and quality objectives.
- Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
- Foster an environment of professional growth and development for staff.
- Integrate evidence-based practices into clinical protocols and operations.
- Act as a resource for staff on obstetrical and neonatal concerns.
Minimum Education & Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kentucky required.
- AWHON Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
