Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with patient care activities
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Document patient information accurately
Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center (Level I or II) is advantageous
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including those in assisted living facilities and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
