Summary
As a Project Management Lead - NAVSUP at UnityTec, you will play a vital role in program management support, the implementation of processes, tools, program planning and control practices. This position is essential for enhancing the value delivered through our professional services while contributing to the overall success of our innovative business development processes. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of project management methodology and tools including Microsoft Project.
*DoD Secret Clearance or favorable Tier III background check & PMP or similar certification required*
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Perform thorough project analysis demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the program you are supporting.
- Make suggestions/creates/implement work arounds to enhance cost and schedule performance.
- Utilize process management techniques to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Lead project teams using methodologies such as Kanban and Agile to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project leadership or program management roles.
- Strong process management skills with a focus on efficiency improvement.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodology and tools to include Microsoft Project.
- Current PMP or similar certification and/or 5 years of specialist experience.
Minimum Education/Certification
- PMP or similar certification
- Bachelor’s degree or as a substitute for the Bachelor's degree, an Associate Degree with 2 years of additional experience or a High School diploma with 5 years of additional experience may be utilized.
Required Clearance
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
