Job Summary: The RN Lead/Clinical Educator coordinates day-to-day operations of the daily activities of the unit utilizing quality and cost-effective patient care principles. This includes operations, staffing levels, employee relations, collaboration, monitoring, and innovation involving the Surgical Services supply chain. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes, assigns and distributes work, to include scheduling surgical cases based on available resources, continuity of care and skill level of the team member;
- Coodinates scheduling and maintains appropriate staffing levels and effectively communicates with others to ensure staffing requirements are met;
- Collaborates with Leadership, effectively resolving complex unit situations, involving team members, patients, providers, vendors, students, and visitors;
- Collaborates with Leadership on development of the performance improvement action plans, including implementation and monitoring.
