Shift: Part-Time 2 days a week - 7:00AM-3:30PM. No On-Call, Weekends or Holidays.
$10k Sign-On Bonus
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Surgery Department. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including scrubbing, assisting, and circulating during OR cases, as well as supporting our Pain Clinic and Sterile Processing operations. The RN will play a key role in ensuring a safe and efficient peri-operative environment, taking on additional duties as delegated by the OR Manager. Responsibilities
- Perform scrub, assist, and circulate functions for surgical procedures.
- Support activities in the Pain Clinic, Sterile Processing, and other peri-operative settings.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient OR environment.
- Carry out duties as assigned by the OR Manager to meet the needs of the department and patients
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program for Registered Nurses.
- Active RN license in the state of Iowa or eligibility as per Iowa Board of Nursing criteria.
- Required certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) must be obtained after hire if not already certified.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Preferred:
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EPIC.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous surgerical experience
