Foundation Coordinator

The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for development and coordination of Trinity Health Foundation 3rd party and signature fundraising event, coordination of scholarships and UnityPoint Health Trinity sponsorships. The position manages projects from start to finish. Additionally, the position will assist in development of projects and campaigns, which includes the annual employee campaign, capital campaigns, stewardship and donor retention strategies and various other community outreach projects. This position works closely with and actively assists the Foundation President, Executive Assistant, and CPE.
Responsibilities
Scholarships
Maintains annual scholarship application, scholarship recipient selection, scholarship recognition event and scholarship donor stewardship and scholarship check requests.Events Planning and Implementation
Leads the Foundation Team and event committee in the planning and implementation of major fundraising and stewardship events such as the UnityPoint Health Cup and John Deere Classic Chalet. Performs functions such as :o Creates event budget and maintains records of expense / income.
o Creates and maintains registration / reservation lists for sponsors and attendees.
o Maintains sponsor benefits and stewardship.
Leads 3rd party event planning and execution as necessary.Collaborate with Foundation staff to execute a yearly donor appreciation event.Coordination of Sponsorships
Supports and executes UnityPoint Health – Trinity corporate sponsorship needs including planning and coordination with community partners to 1) ensure maximum exposure of sponsorship in alignment with our mission, brand, and service lines. 2) increasing value of sponsorships that increase brand awareness and impact our community health improvement planOversees application process for UnityPoint Health – Trinity corporate sponsorships including maintaining online application and communicating with community partners the application process and appropriate dates.Primary contact for community organizations who are receiving corporate sponsorship funding for events and outreach.Executes sponsorship contracts with community partners with support from marketing to ensure all sponsorship benefits are utilized to the fullest extent including filling tables at events with attendees, lining up speakers, preparing talking points and scripts for speakers and ensuring logo / branding is present.Coordinate with staff and Board members to ensure all events and sponsorships have Trinity representation (Foundation, Sr. Team, key service line leaders, etc.)Connects community partners with key service lines to improve visibility of departments through sponsorships.Qualifications
Education : Associate Degree in related field or direct and applicable work experience; Bachelor's preferred
Experience : Previous experience in computerized composition, database management, data development, accounting or business management preferred.
Licensure : Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
