We're seeking a Treasury Program Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead and coordinate the capital budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for UnityPoint Health; partnering with key organizational leaders and business units, position will oversee the creation of a long-term capital plan and utilize these plans to provide valuable analytical insights. The Treasury Program Manager plays an active role in analyzing and executing optimal financing strategies and manages and oversees the organization’s debt portfolio. Strong collaboration is expected with key organizational leaders and business units, to develop, lead and execute a broad range of treasury functions. This position brings a continuous improvement mindset, influencing across the organization to drive execution and value.

Remote/work from home. Must reside within the UPH geographies of Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin. Preference for those in the Des Moines, IA area.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Lead and coordinate the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term capital planning processes.
- Influence and lead development, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the long-term capital plan, including modeling the impact on profit, cash flows, balance sheet and other financial ratios.
- Link the capital budgeting, forecasting and long-term capital planning to broader organizational priorities and balance sheet strategies.
- Manage the enhancement of the capital planning functions by charting improved processes, policies, and workflows and synthesizing complex concepts into action items, programs, or initiatives.
- Support the establishment of an in-house centralized real estate division.
- Subject matter expert for capital planning and communicate process and vision for the enterprise.
- Manage the long-term capital markets activities, including public debt financings and refunding of existing debt to optimize the organization’s capital structure.
- Interact and coordinate with internal subject specialists and external investment bankers, financial advisors, banking partners, tax specialists, and bond counsel and issuing authorities.
- Oversee compliance with the various bond agreements including financial and other non-tax covenants and requirements, annual and quarterly filings, arbitrage calculations, and notifications of material events.
- Act as a liaison to the rating agencies coordinating all data requests, materials preparations, annual reviews, and any bond issuance related specific reviews.
- Subject matter expert for debt management and can communicate process and vision for the enterprise.
- Track, trend and streamline debt management related metrics.
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Experience with financial analysis required.
- Prior Treasury related experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English.
- Demonstrated excellence in judgment, temperament, confidentiality, collaboration, education, written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility, tolerance, and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail essential.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a wide diversity of people and situations while maintaining a customer focus.
- Ability to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively.
- Must have accurate word processing/computer skills.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, analytical skills, and must exhibit good judgement.
