Universal Arts Compounding Pharmacy is looking for a dependable Full-time Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant who would like to establish a long-term career with the pharmacy. We prefer you to have pharmacy technician experience, but we will consider other types of experience in the medical or pharmacy field.
The Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing tasks under the direction and supervision of the pharmacist. The duties involve record-keeping by filing quality control and quality assurance documents, properly maintain compliance documentation, tracking and analyzing data trends, training personnel, equipment calibration, environmental testing, conducting audits, data trending and analytics, etc.
We prefer you to have pharmacy technician experience, but we will consider other types of experience in the medical field.

Registered Pharmacy Technician Licensure or willing to enroll in our pharmacy technician program
Appearance
Able to work with uniforms (scrubs) Monday – Friday
Able to wear closed Toe Shoes Monday – Friday
Able to Don Appropriate PPE’s to enter the lab and perform QA duties
Duties
1. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, assist in QC and QA activities
2. Gathers, organizes and properly files records for QA
3. Maintains equipment calibration records
4. Scan and attach testing results to log sheets
5. Performs and maintains sterile QC record keeping
6. Keeps records of numerous statistical data using Excel sheets
7. Prints monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual QA forms for record keeping
8. Assists pharmacist with monitoring incubation, documenting results and reporting anomalies required by QA
9. Assists in QC investigations and CAPA’s
10. Attends QRE meetings and keeps meeting minutes
11. Assist Pharmacist during inspections, audits and drug recalls by obtaining required documentation as needed.
12. Assists in training of new laboratory personnel
13. Prepares, grades and files employee trainings
14. Prepares and assists in Fit testing for staff respirator use
15. Coordinate with laboratory to identify and troubleshoot process inefficiencies.
16. Use computer driven software to collect information, analyze data, and identify trends.
17. Communicate with vendors in writing and/or verbally regarding testing results.
