Role Overview
Responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for fire and security alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Installation and Service support
- Ability to assist field technicians with technical support and programming.
- Perform technical support and troubleshooting for Intrusion, Fire alarm, Videofied, and Access control systems.
- Responsible for building/programming/troubleshooting Intrusion, Fire alarm, Videofied and Access control systems to include but not limited to: DMP, Honeywell, Videofied and CHeKT
- Responsible for assisting Customer Support Department with projects, account builds, and programming as needed.
- Ability to perform account/data audits to ensure system accuracy, contributing to team success and company goals.
- Provide system, job and service ticket updates for all departments as needed.
- Assist with basic training of new team members as needed.
- Responsible for handling multiple system installations
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Technical School Degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications or desire and ability to learn.
- Bilingual a Plus.
Work Requirements
- The position is considered sedentary and requires extended periods of PC exposure.
- Availability of on call support after normal business hours as needed.
