Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial concepts and experience with various accounting software.
Responsibilities:
Reads computer files or gathers records such as purchase orders, timecards, mileage reports, per diem reports, and expense reports to compile needed data.
Enters information into computer or computes amounts due.
Prepares invoices.
Prepares credit and debit memorandums.
Posts transactions to accounting records such as work sheet, ledger, or computer files.
Analyzes and implements billing requirements contained within contracts and related documents.
Analyzes subcontracts, enters subcontracts into the system, and releases subcontractor payments.
Assigns job numbers and maintains master job lists.
Sets up new jobs and enters contract information into the accounting system.
Scans invoices and contract documents into the system.
Works with clients to meet any special invoicing requirements they may have.
Ability and flexibility to work in cooperation with all those assigned to the office.
This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager – Billing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
