Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinic | EPIC Required

Position Summary:
Gunnison Valley Hospital is seeking a clinically competent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient clinic team. The LPN will provide direct patient care to acutely and chronically ill patients, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Candidates must have recent clinic experience and proficiency with EPIC EMR to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective nursing care under the direction of the Medical Director
- Perform triage, patient assessments, and documentation using EPIC
- Assist with patient encounters, procedures, and care coordination
- Collaborate with physicians, MAs, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Practice within LPN scope of practice and applicable state regulations
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Current LPN license in the state of Colorado
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinic experience
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR required
Additional Information:
- Shift: Day shift only
- Housing Reimbursement: Up to $600/month reimbursed at the end of the assignment with submitted receipts
