Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient clinic team in Bismarck, ND. The LPN will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting, supporting healthcare providers, and ensuring a smooth workflow in daily operations. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine nursing duties under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
- Assist with patient education, including providing instructions on medications and treatment plans.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Active North Dakota LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN, preferably in a clinic or outpatient setting.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to patient care.
