Job Overview

As an LVN/LPN in this LTC role, you will provide essential care, collaborate with a dedicated team, and work to uphold the high standards that make Gogebic one of Michigan's top nursing homes. This role includes monitoring and supporting residents’ well-being in a compassionate, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Deliver individualized care to residents, maintaining a supportive and understanding environment.
• Medication Administration: Safely administer medications according to established protocols and procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatments, and any changes in condition.
• Collaboration: Work alongside a consistent caregiving team to ensure seamless, person-centered care.
• Adherence to Facility Policies: Follow guidelines for attendance, punctuality, and punch-in protocols as specified by Gogebic.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) as an LPN.
• Certifications:
• BLS (required)
• Licensing: Active Michigan LPN license
• COVID-19 Requirements: Proof of vaccination required
• Travel Requirement: Own vehicle required, as there is no public transportation available in Wakefield.

Compliance Notes

• Attendance Policy: Travelers must arrive punctually; late arrivals over 15 minutes may result in shift cancellation without pay.
• Punch-in Protocol: Must punch in no more than 7 minutes early and no more than 7 minutes after the shift ends; overtime is not permitted.
• Refund Policy: Facility may charge for attendance discrepancies or shift cancellations per client-specific guidelines.
