Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) for a 13-week contract assignment in Petoskey, MI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting and be comfortable working night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess resident conditions, reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities and provide emotional support to residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
