What are the responsibilities and job description for the OB RN / Obstetrics position at Universal HCR?
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN FHM or NCC C-EFM).
- STABLE certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN required
Position Overview: The Obstetrics Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with known/accepted standards of practice and AVH policy. Utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care. Works in support of the medical staff treatment plan and makes recommendations for changes to medical treatment plan as appropriate. Educates patients and family around the plan of care and disease management. Actively supports the nursing philosophy by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interpersonal relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement.
- MUST be healthy enough to safely function in low oxygen environment (8,000' in elevation)
- They will be scheduled 36hrs/week (not guaranteeing hours for billing simplification).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,890.00 - $2,900.00 per week
