Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel Requirements: This position may require working evenings and/or weekends and providing staffing coverage at any other SY Health facility, as needed. Mileage reimbursement may be included for intra-day travel to other clinics. A valid, clean, and clear driver’s license is required.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care to join our healthcare team on a 3-month assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in ambulatory care and be comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role will require occasional travel to various clinic sites to ensure seamless patient care and staffing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting, including assessments, treatment, and patient education.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, support staff, and administrative teams to optimize patient care.
- Travel to designated clinic sites as needed to provide staff coverage and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the medical/ambulatory care field.
- Education: Active RN license in the state of California.
- Certifications: BLS/CPR certification required.
- Skills: Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Must have a valid, clean, and clear driver’s license for travel between clinic sites.
