Job Overview :
The Director of Marketing and Volunteer Services manages all aspects of strategic hospital marketing, advertising and public relation initiatives. Initiates and approves all media buys and creative design for television, radio, print, web, social media and digital advertising. Creates content for the hospital's social media platforms, website, blog and electronic newsletters. Writes, edits and maintains hospital and service line collateral materials. Responsible for managing corporate and local marketing budgets; allocates funds, justifies expenses and serves as a good steward of hospital funds. Directs and executes hospital community relations initiatives including strategic partnerships with local groups. Plans and assists with fundraising efforts for non-profit organizations the hospital supports including the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association. Vets all hospital sponsorships. Performs proactive media relations and serves as hospital spokesperson and hospital Public Information Officer (PIO).
