SKILLED NURSING FACILITY - Certified Dietary Manager/Kitchen Manager
Job Summary
The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) organizes, plans, directs, controls, and supervises functions and personnel within the Food and Nutrition Services department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, to ensure the provision of quality food service and nutritional care.
Education/Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or GED
- Completion of a state approved 90-hour dietary managers program or the equivalent and certification in food safety as required by state regulations. Certification with the Dietary Managers Association required.
- Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law or identified in by any registry, regulatory, or licensing body of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in the position.
Experience
- Two to three years of supervisory experience in hospital or long-term care facility dietary department desirable.

Pay: $21.50 - $25.89 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
