We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Eligibility Specialist to join our team and ensure seamless insurance verification and patient eligibility processes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for new and existing patients prior to appointments.
- Accurately input and update patient insurance information in the system.
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies or obtain clarifications.
- Collaborate with the front desk and billing team to ensure eligibility and coverage issues are addressed.
- Maintain detailed records of verifications and authorizations for compliance and follow-up.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Proven experience in insurance verification or eligibility in a healthcare setting (pain management experience preferred).
✅ Strong knowledge of insurance plans, policies, and terminology.
✅ Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle high volumes of verifications.
✅ Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance representatives.
✅ Proficiency in medical software and basic office tools (e.g., Word, Excel).
